　　空海の生れたるご所の善通寺幾代隔てて今参詣す
　　　　　　
善通寺の五重塔・・弘法大師空海ご誕生所（香川）かなのお手本に馴染んでいる弘法さんの縁のお寺にお参りできたのはうれしかった。四国の旅には当然札所があるのにあらためて感動。信仰の深い島の人々の歴史に触れる旅であった。堂々たる五重塔。うつくしさもひとしお。境内の大木も雄々しい。
It's a custom in Japan to give money for some special events.
New year's money is called "Otoshidama". It is given to childen by parents, close relative or neighbors.
At the birth of baby, a wedding and a funeral ceremony, we give money. The guests of wedding or a baby shower get presents, too.
The guest's present cost half the amount of the gift money.
