There are many traditional festivals unique to Akita prefecture. The Kamakura and Namahage festivals in winter are especially well known.
Also, it is said that there are many beautiful women in Akita. They are called Akita Bijin.
Actually, I am certain that our students were beautiful when we went on a school trip to another place.

雪掻きを終えたところに除雪車。今年の方式は補助の人が来てくれて道路脇の始末がきれいになされている。なのに明日からは大雪の予報。
