Monday. 凧・Minazuki

　　天空を唸りて昇る竜を産みおとこらの意気いよいよあがる
　　　　　　　　　
凧には絵凧と字凧がある。字凧には竜・龍の文字が好んでえらばれる。天に昇る竜こそふさわしいのだろう。これも若美荘の展示会で見せていただいた。堂々とした筆勢に見とれた。天高く昇るだろう。
Minazuki
It makes me wonder that why June was called Mimazuki in Japanese.
Minazuki means the no rain month, but the June has the most rainfall in the year.
I read , “ June is called Minazuki, or the month without water, because it rains so much there is no water left in the heavens.” So, I understand the mearning of the Minazuki.
