Tue.

Eggs
Eggs can be cooked for many dishes. Some times I have a raw egg with rice, we call this “ Tamagokakegohan” in Japanese. This is a popular dish for breakfast. But I heard that raw eggs are not eaten in other countries. (In the USA and the UK they don’t eat the raw eggs.)
When I was a child, there were many chickens in my parent’s back yard.
Every day I gathered the eggs with my grandfather. I felt happy collecting warm eggs.
I’m no longer a child now, however I like eggs. I have scrambled eggs, poached eggs, soft boiled eggs, and hard boiled eggs.
How do you like your eggs?
Anyway, the price of eggs is too low.
I suppose the proper price should be twice as expensive as they are today. And the chickens should be raised not in henhouses but on the ground.(in the open air) Why don’t you raise some chickens in your field Kiyo?
In Japanese, we call an inexperienced person “egg.” For example, doctor’s egg ( a doctor in the making ), lawyer’s egg ( a fledgling lawyer ), writer’s egg ( a future writer ).
