Tue. Hatahata

Hatahata is the most popular fish with people of Akita prefecture, everybody loves eating it. The fish come to the coastal area of the Japan Sea in Akita for spawn in winter.
We cook it by broil, Sushi, Shotturukayaki and another thing. Shotturukayaki is a dish cooked on the table and served in a pot.
The cooking ingredients are Hatahata, Tohu, Negi and Shotturu sauce. Negi is Japanese leek, however it is more thin than the leek. The sauce is made from Hatahata.
Now I will try cooking the Shotturukayaki, first, pour water into the pot, next put a Konbu into the pot too, then boil the water. Oh I never forget to take out the Konbu before the water boils, this is the most important point for cooking it.
Now I put the Hatahata, Tohu and Negi into the boiling water, last, I pour the sauce in the pot. Making the dish is easy and quick, but it is very delicious.
Supposing we had it together with friends, both our bodies and hearts become warm themselves

 今年はたはたは豊漁。当初一匹200円はしたのが、ところによっては100円強までになった。魚体も大きい。鍋に、焼き魚にとたっぷりいただく。いますこし醤油につけて冷蔵庫に入ってる。
